Mediterranean style healthy Turkey with Chili and Olive oil
Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground turkey
2 tbsp EDDA olive oil
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Heat EDDA olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and bell peppers. Sauté until softened.
Add ground turkey and cook until browned.
Stir in beans, diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
Simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
