Texas-Style Olive Oil BBQ Sauce
Ingredients:
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup EDDA olive oil
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a saucepan, combine all the ingredients and whisk together.
Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer.
Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Once the flavors are well combined and the sauce has thickened slightly, remove from heat.
Allow the sauce to cool before using it to baste grilled meats or as a dipping sauce.
